Nickel Mountain Group AB (Publ), former IGE, has previously been involved in diamond related licences in a number of African countries. In connection with the financial difficulties of the group during 2013 a decision was made to in various ways reduce engagements in the African operations.
A shareholders’ meeting held on November 22 2013 approved the proposal by the board to separate all the group’s remaining Africa assets into a separate entity. This separation is planned to take place as soon as practically possible during the first half of 2014. More detailed information on this separation will follow via public press releases.
The main focus of the group will be the Rönnbäcken nickel sulphide deposit in Northern Sweden. As already announced in press releases the new company name is Nickel Mountain Group AB (publ). In addition to our main project Rönnbäcken the group owns some minor mining interests in Scandinavia.
